Where was the latest operation conducted?

The latest operation was carried out in the Saran Tangai area, where security forces recovered a cache of weapons and ammunition, including M4 rifles, submachine guns, rocket launchers, mobile phones, and other equipment.

    Why was Operation Shaban launched?

What happened during the Mangi Dam attack?

According to the military, militants attacked the Mangi Dam police checkpoint, resulting in the deaths of nine police personnel during the initial engagement. Security forces later conducted clearance operations in the area.

What is the broader security situation?

Pakistan has witnessed an increase in militant violence, particularly in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, with security forces continuing intelligence-based operations aimed at disrupting militant networks.
