Captain Fatima Sana played a key role in the chase as Pakistan survived a tense contest to advance.
Sri Lanka, meanwhile, qualified for the semi-finals with an 86-run victory over Malaysia. Sri Lanka scored 160 for four in 20 overs, with captain Chamari Athapaththu making 63 from 37 balls and Kavisha Dilhari contributing an unbeaten 44. Malaysia were restricted to 74 for seven.
