Israeli forces have continued military operations in southern Lebanon, carrying out air strikes and ground engagements in multiple locations, according to regional reports.
Air raids struck the town of Hanine at dawn, destroying several residential buildings, media reports said. The attacks came after earlier strikes on Naqoura, where overnight explosions were reported, along with air raids and gunfire in the town of Khiam.
Separately, the Israeli military said two of its soldiers were wounded in an incident in southern Lebanon involving two attackers. According to the statement, one of the attackers was killed and the other was arrested, while the injured soldiers were evacuated for medical treatment.
The developments mark a further escalation in cross-border violence in the region, with continued exchanges of fire reported in southern Lebanon in recent days.
