MINAB: A funeral procession was held on Wednesday for newly identified victims of the missile strike on Shajareh Tayyebeh Elementary School in Minab, with large crowds gathering to pay their respects, according to Iran’s semi-official Tasnim news agency.
The school was destroyed in a missile strike on February 28, the opening day of the conflict, killing more than 170 children and teachers. Mourners carried portraits of the victims and offered prayers as the procession moved through the city, according to Tasnim.

Separately, authorities in Bushehr province said US strikes hit an electrical substation near the Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant, temporarily disrupting power in Bandar-e Gah village. Meanwhile, shipping traffic through the Strait of Hormuz continued to decline amid ongoing hostilities. Reuters, citing Kpler shipping data, reported that only three commodity vessels transited the waterway on Tuesday, down from four the previous day, with no very large crude carriers (VLCCs) or liquefied natural gas (LNG) tankers observed passing through the strait.
