The Iranian Red Crescent has condemned recent airstrikes it attributed to US and Israeli forces, stating that at least 17 civilian areas across Iran were targeted in a single day.

In a statement posted on X, the organisation said there is “no justification” for attacks on civilian populations and emphasized that international humanitarian law classifies such actions as violations amounting to war crimes.

The condemnation comes amid heightened regional tensions, with reports of increased strikes impacting civilian locations and infrastructure. The organisation has called attention to the humanitarian implications of the attacks as the situation continues to develop.
