Authorities in the United Arab Emirates reported that falling debris from a successfully intercepted aerial attack injured one person in an industrial zone of Abu Dhabi, according to AFP. The incident occurred at a facility belonging to Raneen Systems in the ICAD area of Musaffah, where emergency teams responded promptly. Officials confirmed that the casualty, a Ghanaian national, sustained moderate injuries.
The development follows a separate incident a day earlier in Sharjah, where authorities responded to an attack targeting Khor Fakkan, a key port along the Gulf of Oman. Reports indicated that Pakistani nationals were also wounded in that episode after a projectile was intercepted. In response, Shehbaz Sharif expressed deep concern over the situation, underscoring the broader regional risks posed by the escalating conflict.
