    Undefeated Russian fighter Asadula Imangazaliev respects Kongthoranee’s credentials, but trusts his own preparation before he shares the global stage with the Thai veteran.

    He locks horns against the former two-time Rajadamnern Stadium Muay Thai world champion in the co-main event of ONE Fight Night 39: Rambolek vs. Dayakaev on Prime Video.

    Their scheduled three-round flyweight Muay Thai tiff goes down inside the historic Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, this Friday, Jan. 23.

    His latest take is no different, and it captures his confidence ahead of fight night in the Thai capital city.

    “I understand that my opponent is very experienced. So, I need to stay focused and sharp at all times. I feel that I am ready for this moment, ready to pass this level and move forward toward my goal,” Asadula Imangazaliev shared during his pre-fight interview with ONE Championship.

    The goal in question is none other than the ONE flyweight Muay Thai world championship, which is currently vacant.

    Asadula Imangazaliev believes another big win could set him up for world title glory inside the Circle, and given how things have gone for him throughout his career, the knockout machine is definitely not biting more than he can chew.

    He’s developed into one of the most dangerous strikers and knocked out five of his six opponents under the ONE banner without much fuss. His fastest highlight-reel victory came against Bobirjon Isroilov in just 34 seconds at ONE Friday Fights 79 in September 2024.

    Before any talk about 26 pounds of gold, however, Asadula Imangazaliev must first find a way to overcome Kongthoranee at ONE Fight Night 39.
