President Asif Ali Zardari paid tribute to Pakistan’s armed forces, praising their professionalism, courage, and commitment during Marka-e-Haq, stating that the operation demonstrated the country’s defensive strength and national unity.
According to official statements, the president said Pakistan’s armed forces successfully defended the country’s sovereignty and responded effectively to external threats during the conflict. He described Marka-e-Haq as a symbol of national resilience and praised the sacrifices made by military personnel for the security of the country.
President Zardari also highlighted the role of the people of Pakistan, saying the nation stood united behind its armed forces during challenging times. He added that the successful conduct of Operation Bunyanum Marsoos reflected Pakistan’s preparedness, strategic capability, and commitment to regional peace while safeguarding national interests.
The president reiterated that Pakistan seeks peace and stability in the region but remains fully capable of defending its territorial integrity against any aggression. He further appreciated the Pakistan Army, Pakistan Air Force, and Pakistan Navy for their coordinated response and operational readiness.
The remarks came during commemorative events linked to the first anniversary of Marka-e-Haq and Operation Bunyan um Marsoos, which Pakistani officials describe as a decisive response to Indian aggression during the 2025 conflict.
