LOS ANGELES: Meghan Markle has promoted Cookie Queens, the latest documentary executive produced by her and Prince Harry through Archewell Productions, ahead of its nationwide theatrical release on August 7.
The Duchess of Sussex shared the film’s official poster on Instagram on Friday, writing: “Big dreams start small. #CookieQueens is only in theaters August 7.”
Directed by filmmaker Alysa Nahmias, the documentary follows four Girl Scouts competing to become top cookie sellers during the annual Girl Scout Cookie season in the United States. Beyond the competition, the film explores themes including leadership, resilience, ambition and personal growth.
Cookie Queens premiered earlier this year at the 2026 Sundance Film Festival, where it received positive reviews from critics.
Speaking at the festival premiere, Meghan described the documentary as more than a story about cookies, praising Nahmias’ portrayal of girlhood and leadership.
“These young ladies are fantastic and adorable, but they are also layered, beautiful girls who are about to become strong leaders and young women,” she said.
The documentary highlights the entrepreneurial experiences of its young participants while examining the friendships, challenges and pressures associated with one of the largest youth fundraising programmes in the United States.
The film is scheduled for a nationwide theatrical release on August 7.
