Actor Mahira Khan has expressed gratitude to the cast and crew of her latest film Aag Lagay Basti Mein, which continues to perform well at the box office following its Eidul Fitr release. Taking to social media, she reflected on the journey of the project and acknowledged the individuals who contributed to its success.

Khan particularly thanked writer and director Bilal Atif Khan, recalling her initial reaction when the script was first presented to her. She noted that although she was initially unsure about the project, the director remained confident that she was the right fit for the role. She also expressed admiration for his work as a debut filmmaker.

In her post, Khan highlighted the contributions of her long-time collaborators, including stylist Babar Zaheer and manager Anushay Khan, appreciating their continued trust and creative support. She also acknowledged the efforts of art director Hira M. Saad, director of photography Abid Rizvi, and creative director Salman Noorani, particularly praising the execution of the film’s heist sequence.

The actor extended appreciation to the entire ensemble cast, noting that their collective performance elevated the film. She also gave special mention to co-stars Tabish Hashmi and Javed Sheikh, calling it an honour to share the screen with seasoned performers.

Khan further recognized co-producer Ali Kazmi along with the broader production team, including assistant directors, technicians, and crew members working behind the scenes. She reserved special praise for co-star and producer Fahad Mustafa, commending his vision, leadership, and support for the project.

Aag Lagay Basti Mein continues its theatrical run in Pakistan and internationally, including screenings in markets such as the US, UK, UAE, Canada, Qatar, Bahrain, and Oman. The film follows the story of a couple navigating ambition and financial challenges, with events escalating into a comedic heist-driven narrative.
