The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced a star-studded commentary panel for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026, promising a world-class viewing experience for cricket fans worldwide.
In a press release issued on Friday, the ICC said a team of renowned former players and experts will feature on ICC.TV throughout the tournament, which begins in India and Sri Lanka on February 7. The 10th edition of the T20 World Cup will feature 55 matches, with the final scheduled for March 8.
According to the ICC, the commentary will be delivered through a world feed service to broadcast partners, ensuring consistent and high-quality coverage across all regions.
The panel will be led by celebrated voices such as Ravi Shastri, Nasser Hussain, Ian Bishop, Wasim Akram, and Sunil Gavaskar, along with several other former international stars and World Cup winners.
Current players, including South Africa captain Temba Bavuma and former Sri Lanka skipper Angelo Mathews, are also part of the commentary line-up, adding a contemporary perspective to the coverage.
The ICC said ICC.TV’s broadcast will feature comprehensive pre-match shows, interval analysis, post-match reviews, and daily highlights, providing fans with in-depth coverage from the group stage to the knockout rounds.
Officials stated that the diverse and experienced panel reflects the global spirit of the tournament and is designed to enhance the overall viewing experience for cricket lovers around the world.
