Pop star Billie Eilish was unexpectedly brought on stage by Hailey Bieber and Justin Bieber during a surprise moment at Coachella 2026, fulfilling a long-standing childhood dream for the singer.
In a preview of an upcoming interview with Capital Radio, Eilish said she was unaware of the surprise until moments before it unfolded during the festival’s second weekend on April 18. She recalled that Hailey Bieber hinted shortly before the performance that she would be involved in pushing Eilish on stage for a special segment.
Eilish said the moment left her overwhelmed, adding that she initially struggled to process what was happening. She noted that she began to suspect something was planned after hearing conversations in the crowd and being near members of Bieber’s team.
The surprise occurred during a performance segment referencing Justin Bieber’s song “One Less Lonely Girl,” a track Eilish has previously said she admired growing up. Videos from the event showed Eilish and Hailey Bieber dancing before the pop star was guided onto the stage.
Eilish described the experience as a “life-changing dream,” saying she could hardly believe it had happened.
Hailey Bieber later referenced the moment at the Time 100 Gala, saying the surprise was meant to be “full circle,” noting that Eilish and Justin Bieber first met at Coachella in 2019.
The incident has since circulated widely on social media, drawing attention from fans of both artists and adding to Coachella’s series of high-profile surprise appearances this year.
