Fortnight that was:
Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC) and Reliance Industries Limited (Reliance) signed an agreement to enable resource sharing for deepwater offshore E&P operations on India’s East Coast, particularly across the Krishna Godavari (KG) basin and Andaman offshore, marking a major step towards cost optimization, faster execution, and improved asset utilization in complex deepwater projects.
Indian Oil Corporation Ltd has signed a Letter of Intent with Akasa Air to Advance Sustainable Aviation Fuel Supply
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has highlighted investment opportunities in India for LNG supply chain. He underlined several investment opportunities in the country, particularly in shipping vessels, pipelines and regasification infrastructure. In his inaugural address on the first day of the India Energy Week Modi also highlighted numerous opportunities in the exploration and production (E&P) sector, especially the deep-sea exploration initiative — Samudra Manthan Mission.
India and Canada highlighted the “significant potential” to deepen bilateral energy trade including supply of LNG, LPG and crude oil to New Delhi, in return for supplying refined petroleum products to Ottawa.
