The agreement follows another major Pentagon contract announced last week, under which Lockheed Martin received a deal worth up to $58.6 billion to manufacture Patriot interceptor missiles. The Pentagon has also signed a similar framework agreement with RTX, the parent company of Raytheon, to increase annual production of Tomahawk cruise missiles from approximately 60 missiles to a long-term target of 1,000 missiles per year.
